I love Section 31 so much though

Whereas pretty much everybody else in the Federation is just “oh no Prime Direction morals blah blah”, Section 31 actually has the guts to do what it takes. They cross the line sometimes (alright, they cross the line a lot), but what they do ends up helping people a lot more than “oh no we can’t save this dying race because they haven’t gotten warp flight yet PRIME DIRECTIVE”

Holy crap, what an amazing movie. Can’t believe they brought Khan in; what’s more, I can’t believe I ended up liking this Khan more than the original.

Two little problems I had: First, the Klingon redesign. It wouldn’t be that bad if they just had some frakking hair. Second, when Admiral Marcus talks about Section 31, he says it’s a top secret Starfleet organization. That’s not true; Section 31 is a civilian organization that answers to no one.

Aside from those two tiny uber-Trekkie complaints, the movie was really flawless. 

Either that or he’s the Valeyard which would also be cool

Right so my best guess is that John Hurt is the Doctor who was in the Last Great Time War
